Role

Reorg is looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our Application Framework team. As a software developer, you will collaborate with a team of experienced developers to design, develop, and implement solutions that enable our users to navigate the complexities of global credit markets. The products you and your team build provide a powerful range of data, analytics, intelligence, technology and reports for more than 30,000 leveraged finance and restructuring professionals working within the global credit markets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new software features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that meets our high-quality standards
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions
  • Debug and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in application development and deployment
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Python, PHP
  • Proficiency with a relational database such as MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Django, Laravel, .Net Web API, or Flask
  • Familiarity with Vue.js
  • Experience running software on Unix/Linux operating systems with Docker and Docker Compose
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as version control, continuous integration, and automated testing
  • Strong foundational knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology

  • Familiarity with code pipeline solutions such as Jenkins, TeamCity, CodeDeploy, etc.
