Summary

We are seeking a PHP/Laravel Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team at Blue Badger. This individual will devote their time to mentoring a team of 5 intermediate & senior developers (and the occasional intern) working on predominantly Shopify projects. Typical development projects for your team will include: integrations with 3rd party APIs, building custom applications, tweaking Shopify business logic via Shopify Functions, and tuning the sites for performance and usability. This position is based in Canada.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with web development
• 3 years of experience with PHP/Laravel
• 3 years of experience with Javascript
• 1 year of experience with Shopify
• 1 year of experience in a client-facing role
• Experience with React a big plus
• Experience with Node a big plus
• Experience with Akeneo a nice to have
• Experience with Adobe Commerce/Magento a nice to have
• Proven experience coaching/mentoring younger developers
